Philosophy
DE.MA. carries out its production activities from fully equipped facilities, employing carefully selected, qualified staff, which has grown over the years thanks to the experience of the Mauri brothers, Massimo and Corrado.
We are more than a simple team with good technical skills, rather we are a family made up of excellent professionals, driven by values based on respect, hard work, and dedication: this is our calling card.
Founding and Development
Founded in 1995 in the municipality of Valbrona (CO), the early experiences of DE.MA. involved the construction of complete system components to develop storage and processing lines in the dairy sector: in particular, the custom development of multi-purpose machines, form conveying systems, pre-assembled skids with CIP systems for pasteurising, the distribution of milk and its derivatives.
In addition to developing these machines integrated with the Control and Automation systems, DE.MA. also contributed to their design phase, making changes to the prototypes in the machine shop and processes, installing the systems on-site and actively supporting the testing stages of the various systems.
Thanks to these experiences and following numerous other projects also in the chemical sector, chocolate industry, and commodities sector in general, at the start of 2000 DE.MA expanded its production site, purchasing and equipping a new site just a few kilometres from Como, which is today the company’s official headquarters and production site.
Workshop and Spaces
- Internal machine shop space: 2600 m2
- Outdoor space: 1500 m2
- Office and meeting room area: spaces dedicated to Administrative functions, Technical department with reception and meeting rooms.
- WATER JET area with dedicated CAD/CAM office support, where metal sheets are developed.
- Areas dedicated to storage of stainless steel profiles and rolled sheets.
- Areas with ad-hoc set-up for the following activities: pre-assembly of complete machinery, testing and inspections (from non-destructive testing on welds to blank tests on produced and assembled machinery), construction activities, system revamping and reconditioning/retrofitting.
- The machine shop spaces and external warehouse are designed exclusively for the machining and storage of stainless steel, thus guaranteeing the highest quality standard of our products and avoiding any possibility of contamination.
